About Us

Natasha Dela Cruz was born in Ottawa and raised throughout the Caribbean. Her education consisted of both public and private schools. She always imagined working with children and at the young age of 18 decided a career in teaching would be a good fit.

 

She was introduced to the Montessori philosophy in 1999 after accepting a Teaching Assistant position in a Casa classroom for children ages 2-6 years.  In 2004, she made a decision to further her studies and attended the Montessori Training Centre of British Columbia.  After receiving her AMI diploma (Association Montessori Internationale) she accepted a teaching position as a Casa Directress at a local Montessori School where she had spent over 10 years sharing Maria Montessori's vision.

 

Today, Natasha owns her own Montessori classroom that offers a unique bilingual curriculum for children of all ages. She has a loving husband and caring mother that work along side her in the classroom. Ranz Dela Cruz offers an incredible art program for school aged children and has been a certified Nurse for over 20 years. Together they share 5 beautiful children of their own that have all had a head start in their education within a Montessori environment.  Natasha's mother, Diane Henri is a grandmother first and foremost with past experience in a Montessori school here in Ottawa.
